The central element of DALI ® LDL apheresis is the adsorber column. The DALI ® adsorber (DALI – acronym for Direct Adsorption of Lipoproteins) selectively binds LDL cholesterol and Lp (a) from whole blood. The reduction in LDL cholesterol can be tailored to suit the patient by combining different sizes of adsorber (DALI ® 500, DALI ® 750).
